Fall 2023 Updates
Tutoring. Special welcome to the new WLRC German Tutor, Desiree! Schedule a visit today! Desiree is available MW 2-3 p.m in the WLRC Pilcher (PS) 134. You can also contact Desiree Bressler at wlrcgerman@kennesaw.edu.
Conversation. Kaffeeklatsch is currently meeting twice a week:
Thursdays 12:30-1:30 pm in the Starbucks on the 1st floor of the Social Sciences Building
Wednesdays 2:30-3:00 pm in the World Languages Resources Center (Pilcher 134).
Contest. The Annual Georgia German Poetry Contest is live and there are cash prizes.
German Honor Society will host an induction ceremony is scheduled for October 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Pilcher 204.
German Student Council. The first cohort of representatives has been elected to the German Student Council and the first meeting will be in-person and virtually as well on October 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm (in Pilcher 204 or on Teams).
Study Abroad (Germany). Drop in for virtual or face-to-face information sessions about a multitude of programming for study abroad. The schedule and location information can be found on the study abroad page.
Contest. Submit your idea for the perfect KSU German Club T-Shirt in our Design Contest and win a prize!
New Courses. Two new courses will be offered in English in Spring 2024. The first is from Dr. Goldblatt (Voices of Dissent - WLC 2306) and the second is from Dr. Scapolo (Dante's Inferno - ITAL 4434). Both promise to be highly engaging and we recommend you consider them for your future studies.
