Beyond the Classroom
Welcome to German Club!
The German Club of Kennesaw State University is a German language and culture club that welcomes all who are interested in learning about German culture, customs, and practicing conversational German. Members need not speak German and are not required to be enrolled in courses of German at any level. Students who attend the German club meetings will be exposed to various German customs as well as to the language.
All registered KSU students are eligible for membership in the German Club. Voting members shall be designated as those students who have attended most meetings in an academic semester. There are currently no dues or fees for membership. The only requirement for membership is a desire to be a part of KSU in an extracurricular affiliation and the desire to expand knowledge of German culture and language.

I'm from Cartersville, GA and graduated from Woodland High School. My major is German with a concentration in education and I'm currently a junior. I attended the 2022 Maymester which included travel to Frankfurt, Otzenhausen, and Trier. I'm looking forward to attending a semester at Paderborn in 2023 and hope to visit with some of the people I've met in their hometowns. My favorite German food is Rehbraten. My hobbies are disc golf and reading.

I'm from the small town of Concord, GA where I went to Pike County High School. My major is of course German Modern Language and Culture. I'm in my third year now at KSU and my second year in the German program. In those short two years I've just recently this year participated in the Maymester in Otzenhausen, Germany and already plan to attend the University of Paderborn next semester. I enjoy reading Donald Duck comics in German and my favorite German film is Das Boot. Outside of the German realm I like to read, play the bass, paint miniatures, and skateboard in my free time.
KSU German Club organizes and hosts a variety of activities throughout the academic year.
